Reporting a Device Issue

If you notice any hardware or physical damage to EmbracePlus or its charger, report it to the Empatica Support Team using this form.

Stop using damaged equipment. Do not wear EmbracePlus if it appears to be damaged, and unplug the cable charger from the power source if the charger is damaged.

Before you get in touch

The form asks for a few details, so it helps to have these ready:

  • The serial number of your EmbracePlus. You’ll find it on the Settings page of the Care App, on the box, and on the bottom of the pod case, after ‘S/N’.

  • Your full Participant ID, from your login credentials.
  • A short description of the problem, and of how it happened if you know. For example: the display is broken, the band is damaged, a side button doesn’t work, the device fell on a hard surface, the charger cracked open.
  • A photo of the damage.

What happens next

The Empatica Support Team will get back to you with instructions, either for further tests or for a replacement.
